Covert Coats
Cordings has been associated with the Covert coat since the styles beginnings. In fact the example in the Victorian and Albert museum, London, has a Cordings label. Proof, if proof were needed that the Cordings Covert is the one against which all others are measured. The name 'Covert' - pronounced 'cover' is derived from the french 'couvert', meaning a shady place or thicket and refers to the subtle brown hues in the cloth. Our cloth, exclusive to Cordings, is a sturdy hard wearing traditional covert; you will not find a better version.
